Hello. My name is Karen. My husband and I have been married for 25 years and have 3 beautiful girls. After 25 years as a registered nurse, I now teach Healthcare Science at WCHS.

Question: What do you do for a living and what do you like most about it?

Answer: “I have been a registered nurse for 25 years. Last year, I began teaching Healthcare Science to High School Students.”

Q: What advice would you want to give or leave with people? Or , If you could go back in time to give yourself some wisdom, what would you say?

A: “Don’t sweat the small things and eat what you want while you’re still young and have a high metabolism.”

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?

A: “Hawaii- I’ve never been there and have always wanted to go.”

Q: What is the most beautiful place in the world you have already visited?

A: “Grand Tetons.”

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?

A: “Denise Hosemann- she always makes me laugh. We would go to the Soda Fountain.”

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?

A: “Soda Fountain, Chick- fil-a.”

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?

A: “Lived in Cleveland since 1991.”

A: “Smith Soda Shop.”

A: “Nacho Libre.”

A: “I used to live in Haiti.”

A: “Relaxing with my family.”
